My Weekly Workout Plan & Activewear Edit

I like to kickstart my week with a full-body workout. This usually includes a combination of weightlifting and bodyweight exercises. I start with a few minutes of warm-up, followed by exercises like squats, lunges, bench presses, and rows. I aim for three to four sets of each exercise, with reps ranging from eight to 12. To finish off, I do some core work like crunches and planks.

For my activewear, I go for a comfortable and functional set. I love a good pair of leggings that offer enough support and a moisture-wicking top to keep me cool during my workout.

Tuesday: Cardio Day
Tuesdays are all about getting my heart rate up. I either go for a run outside or use the treadmill for a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session. This type of workout not only boosts my cardiovascular fitness but also helps me burn calories and improve my endurance. I alternate between short bursts of sprinting and recovery periods for maximum effectiveness.

When it comes to activewear, I choose lightweight and breathable fabrics. A pair of running shoes that provide proper cushioning is a must, and I also like to wear a hat to keep the sun out of my eyes.

Wednesday: Yoga or Pilates
Midweek, I like to take it down a notch and focus on flexibility and mindfulness. Either a yoga or Pilates session is perfect for this. These practices help me release tension, improve my balance, and strengthen my core. I spend an hour or so flowing through poses and concentrating on my breath.

My activewear for these sessions is all about comfort and freedom of movement. I opt for stretchy leggings or shorts and a soft, breathable top. A yoga mat that provides good grip is also essential.

Thursday: Strength Training
On Thursdays, I focus on building strength. This could involve exercises like deadlifts, shoulder presses, and bicep curls. I aim to increase the weight or reps I’m doing each week to continue challenging my muscles. I also make sure to give myself enough rest in between sets to avoid overtraining.

For my activewear, I look for something that offers good support and durability. A sturdy pair of training shoes and a moisture-wicking shirt are my go-tos.

Friday: Active Recovery
As the week comes to an end, I give my body some much-needed rest and recovery. This could be a gentle walk, a swim, or a session of foam rolling and stretching. It’s important to take some time to relax and let my muscles recover before the weekend.

For active recovery, I choose loose-fitting clothes that allow me to move freely. A pair of comfy sweatpants and a hoodie are perfect for this.

Weekend: Optional Workouts & Fun Activities
The weekends are usually my time to do some of the activities I enjoy, like hiking, cycling, or playing a sport with friends. These activities not only keep me active but also allow me to have some fun and enjoy the outdoors. I also like to take advantage of the weekend to try out new classes or workouts that I might not have time for during the week.

When it comes to activewear for the weekend, I look for something that’s versatile and suitable for the activities I have planned. Whether it’s a pair of durable hiking boots or a cycling jersey, I make sure my gear is ready for whatever adventure awaits.

Activewear Edit: My Favorite Brands & Styles
Now, let’s talk about some of my favorite activewear brands and styles. I love brands that combine functionality with style. Some of my favorites include Lululemon for their high-quality leggings, Nike for their performance-driven gear, and Adidas for their trendy designs. I also like to mix and match different pieces to create my own unique activewear looks.

When it comes to styles, I tend to go for classic and timeless pieces that can be easily paired with other items. Black leggings are a staple in my wardrobe, as they can be dressed up or down. I also like to add pops of color or fun patterns with my tops and accessories.

In conclusion, having a weekly workout plan and a collection of activewear that makes me feel good helps me stay motivated and committed to my fitness goals. It’s all about finding what works for you and making it a part of your routine. So, get moving, have fun, and embrace your active lifestyle!

Remember, fitness is not just about looking good; it’s about feeling good both physically and mentally. So, here’s to a healthy and active week ahead!
